Review & Reputation Platforms in UK Healthcare (2026)
We crawled 64,214 unique clinic domains across England to map which review and reputation platforms are actually in use. 87% of UK clinics have no review management tool at all, and the platforms that do exist are overwhelmingly generic embedding widgets rather than healthcare-specific solutions.
The Big Picture
87% of UK clinic websites have no detectable review management tool. That is an even larger gap than Australia, where 83.3% have none (16.7% adoption). The UK sits at just 13.0%.
What UK clinics do have is Google Reviews. 32.6% of domains (20,941) embed Google Reviews directly on their site, typically via a generic widget. But embedding reviews is not the same as managing reputation. These clinics are displaying ratings, not actively collecting, responding to, or routing patient feedback.
Only 8,362 domains (13.0%) use a dedicated review management platform, and most of those are generic tools like Trustindex and Elfsight that simply pull in Google Reviews with a nicer layout.

Generic vs Healthcare-Specific
Unlike Australia, where HotDoc (a patient booking platform) leads the review category, the UK is dominated by generic review widgets. Trustindex (4.8%) and Elfsight (2.8%) are Google Reviews embedding tools built for any industry. Trustpilot (1.7%) is a general-purpose review platform originally designed for e-commerce.
Doctify (1.6%) is the only healthcare-specific review platform in the top four, and the only one in the entire list designed specifically for clinical reputation management. It connects patients to verified practitioners and collects post-consultation feedback, a fundamentally different model from embedding a Google Reviews carousel.
The remaining platforms in the list serve niche roles. Treatwell (0.4%) is a beauty and wellness marketplace. WhatClinic (0.1%) is a healthcare comparison site. Judge.me and Feefo are e-commerce review tools that happen to appear on some clinic websites, likely because of retail or supplement sales.
Key Takeaways
Generic embedding tools dominate. Trustindex (4.8%) and Elfsight (2.8%) together account for 7.6% of all UK clinic domains. These tools display Google Reviews on the website but offer no review solicitation, response management, or patient feedback routing.
Doctify is the UK's leading healthcare-specific review platform. At 1.6% (1,052 domains), Doctify is the only platform in the top four built for clinical reputation. It collects verified patient reviews and connects them to practitioner profiles.
No healthcare booking platform drives reviews in the UK. In Australia, HotDoc dominates both booking and reviews. The UK has no equivalent. Booking and reputation are separate tool categories, which means clinics need to adopt (and pay for) two different platforms.
87% of UK clinics have no review management. That is an even larger gap than Australia (83.3%). For review platform vendors, the UK represents a massive greenfield with over 55,000 clinic domains that have no tool in place.
Trustpilot was not built for healthcare. At 1.7% (1,109 domains), Trustpilot is the third most common review platform on UK clinic websites. But it was designed for e-commerce and lacks healthcare-specific features like practitioner profiles, clinical feedback forms, or NHS integration.
Methodology
Data sourced from the Yoluko clinic intelligence platform. 64,214 unique clinic domains across England are crawled regularly. Review platform detection is based on public website signals: embedded widgets, JavaScript includes, iframe sources, and link patterns. Google Reviews display is detected separately from review management platforms. A clinic that embeds a Google Reviews widget via Trustindex is counted in both the "display" and "management" categories.
